Creator Coins Purchase Policy

The Coins Purchase Policy (the "Policy") governs your ability to purchase virtual coins ("Coins"), a digital good sold exclusively by TikTok, on the TikTok mobile application and website at www.tiktok.com (the "Platform") using funds that are payable by TikTok to you pursuant to the rewards program applicable to you (the “Payable Fees”). This Policy serves as an agreement between you (the "Customer" or "you") and the TikTok entity that sells Coins in your country (“TikTok”, “we” or “us”) under the Terms of Service.
Please read this Policy carefully before you order the purchase of Coins using Payable Fees. If you do not agree to this Policy, then please do not submit an order for Coins using your Payable Fees.
Capitalised terms used but not defined in this Policy shall have the meaning set out in our Terms of Service, Community Guidelines or Virtual Items Policy. Any personal data processed in connection with your purchase of Coins pursuant to this Policy will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy (the foregoing terms and policies are referred to collectively in this Policy as the "TikTok Terms and Policies").

Purchasing Coins Using Payable Fees

  1. Your purchase of Coins is at all times subject to the TikTok Terms and Policies.
  2. To purchase Coins, you must meet the following conditions:
    1. be a registered user of the Platform; and
    2. be 18 years old (or 19 in South Korea).

  1. We reserve the right to refuse requests to purchase Coins using Payable Fees or to impose limits on the purchase of Coins in our sole discretion. We also reserve the right to cease offering the purchase of Coins using Payable Fees or to amend the terms of this Policy, in either case, in our sole discretion.
  2. We always do our best to ensure that we credit your account with the correct number of Coins purchased. If, for any reason, a mistake is made when crediting your account, we will contact you and correct the error as soon as we can.
  3. You may elect to use Payable Fees to purchase Coins from TikTok. When making such an election, you will confirm how many Coins you would like to purchase using Payable Fees, and you will need to confirm your agreement to how much those Coins will cost. You agree that by submitting an order to purchase Coins using Payable Fees, you authorize us to deduct the full purchase amount of the transaction including all applicable taxes, as confirmed at the time of your order, from your balance of Payable Fees.


Refunds

  1. All Coin purchases, including those under this Policy, are ineligible for a refund.


Changes to this Policy

  1. We may amend this Policy from time to time at our sole discretion, for instance when we update the functionality of Coins or when there are regulatory changes that impact this Policy or the use of Coins. Any amendments to this Policy will be made in accordance with our Terms of Service.
